About  the Program 

Ambassador of Ambassador Arts Academy. This film program was developed to give our youth a safe  place to share their voice and their stories. This is a two week program where we will bring industry experts to teach. We will also go on a few field trips during this time to learn from some of the best!

​

PRODUCING: It is a genre of movie making that uses video & film scenes, photographs and/or sound of real people and real events which when edited together creates a particular story, viewpoint, message or experience. This also includes budgeting.

​

WRITING: It's a combination of writing – conceptualizing – and allowing things to happen that you can't predict. That's how virtually every documentary is created, and it also is how virtually every fiction film is created. You start from a blueprint, and then you allow cinema to happen

​

LIGHTING: With what you have: You don't have to have a professional film camera to create great content. We are going to show you how to create with what you have.

​

DIRECTING: Directing a documentary is one of the most important parts of producing a documentary and can be very rewarding . We will teach you the fundamentals of directing yourself and others.

​

EDITING: Film editors assemble footage of feature films, television shows, documentaries, and industrials into a seamless end product. They manipulate plot, score, sound, and graphics to refine the overall story into a continuous and enjoyable whole.

AMBASSADOR SCREENING & AWARDS CEREMONY

At the conclusion of the camp, we will select a winner for the best documentary which will screen on our YouTube channel along with other prizes valued up to $5000.
